Established in 2019, NOTE - The Scent Lab stands at the forefront of Vietnam's fragrance industry. The dedicated team at NOTE specializes in delivering workshops and products designed to enhance different facets of life through the fusion of art and science in scent. Whether one seeks personalized experiences or engages in tailored B2B services, which encompass customized scents and gifts, NOTE is steadfast in its commitment to enriching the olfactory journey of its patrons.
Product and Packaging
Throughout this summer internship, I had the chance to actively contribute to revitalizing the packaging aesthetics, aiming for a cohesive brand identity. This involved refining the existing logo, and typography, exploring various paper types, packaging options, and labels while adhering to a budget. The process also included collaborating closely with the brand founders and engaging in iterative design adjustments based on their feedback.
The essence of our design revolves around the themes of creativity, connectivity, and emotion. As a brand dedicated to infusing creativity and personality into every aspect, NOTE seeks to harness its distinctive scents as a means of fostering emotional connections among individuals. The visual motif featured on all packaging takes the form of a wave pattern, seamlessly intertwining the four sides of the box. This design not only signifies the interconnectedness of people but also emphasizes the profound connection one can establish with oneself through the captivating power of scents.

Social media posts
In addition to my involvement in branding efforts, I collaborated closely with the marketing team during this internship. My role included working with both raw and retouched photos provided by the team, using them to create engaging graphics tailored for Instagram and Facebook ads. This experience allowed me to contribute to the visual storytelling aspect of the brand's social media presence.
I was assigned the creation of a video for the product showroom, commemorating the first anniversary of R Space. The video captures the evolution of R Space, transforming from an untouched building into a beautifully designed showroom over the past year. I made use of previously recorded footage by the founder, incorporating a mix of DSLR and iPhone clips. Additionally, I filmed new footage to showcase the current state of the R space.
